About Us
The Gambella Children and Community Development Organization (GCCDO) is a civil society and community-based organization established in 2008, operating in the Gambella Regional State of Ethiopia. We are driven by the fundamental goal to contribute to national development initiatives and uplift the living standards of the most vulnerable women, children, and youth in the Gambella Region, ensuring they lead dignified lives.
We believe in empowering marginalized and disadvantaged communities by providing developmental services, enabling them to improve their living standards within their vicinities. Our core objective is to protect the rights of marginalized children, youth, and women from harmful practices and significantly improve their living conditions. Our work is guided by strong core values including accountability, transparency, confidentiality, respectfulness, servant hood attitude, teamwork, and the dignity of all p how you helped clients achieve their desired results.

Program Priorities and Thematic
Given the relevancy of the current programs that address the needs of the Gambella Communities, Gambella Children and Community Development Organization has the following program priority and thematic.
- OVC support in Emergency , trafficking and migration Program
- Livelihood & Women Economic Empowerment and Gender Inequality
- Child & Youth Education Program and Capacity building on job duties to teachers in order to bring the equality of education and strengthening the skills.
- Health on HIV/AIDS Prevention, Controlling , Mother Child Health Care and Reproductive Health Programs
- Water, Sanitation and hygiene Program ( WASH)
- Environmental Protection and Disaster Risk Management.
- Local Community Cohesion Program in collaboration with the Government
Meet GCCDO's Team
The organization has qualified and capable staffs that undertake program activities implementation in the target locations. It is also equipped with sound financial systems guided by manuals including human resource manual; financial manual, procurement manual; SP document; gender inequality manual and child protection guidelines adopted from Save the Children International.
